Established in 2009 by Bobby Andruszko, ACGI is a faith-based, family-oriented company built on **4 Generations of Family Construction Pedigree**. Our story reaches back to **Great-grandfather Giovanni**, a master stonemason whose expertise in the **FDR-era WPA Program** helped build the massive infrastructure that still serves Portland and our nation today. From the grading of **PDX Airport** to the stone-faced tunnels of **Rocky Butte**, his generation laid the foundation of our city.
This foundation of excellence continued through **Grandfather Bob Yaconetti**, a Master Builder who led **Yacon Construction** for 20 years, and **Father Bob Andruszko**, who helmed **Andy's Professional Painting** for a decade as a Master Painter. Today, Bobby carries forward this rich lineage of precision and integrity on every project we touch.

Civic Engagement:
• ACGI has consistently, on a year-by-year basis, volunteered with Compassion 1st in
Biloxi, Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast. Painted 1 exterior house and 1
interior house. We have also helped many local residents with various construction projects in
the Portland Metro Area with Catalyst NW, a local
NGO that helps disadvantaged single mothers, retirees & veterans.

A Passion Born from Hard Work
At just 8 years old, Bobby Andruszko discovered what it meant to truly work. Painting T-111 siding alongside his father Bob, he spent an entire day back-rolling—and at the end, told his dad it was the hardest work he'd ever experienced. His father laughed, never forgetting that moment. But when asked if he still wanted to be a painter, Bobby's answer was clear: absolutely.
For Bobby, painting isn't just work—it's therapeutic, transformative, and beautiful. Witnessing the change firsthand became his calling.
During his college years at Portland State University, Bobby gained 4 years of hands-on experience with various unions, labor companies, and contractors throughout Portland. In 2009, at the height of the recession, he took a leap of faith and established Andruszko Painting LLC using his tax returns. Seven years later, in 2016, the business evolved into ACGI—a name that better reflects the comprehensive services the company offers.
For 15 years, Bobby has been on-site for every single project ACGI undertakes. That's not just a business practice—it's a commitment.

Giovanni Iaconetti
Bobby's great-grandfather, known as "Little John," came to America from Italy seeking opportunity. During the Great Depression, he worked on the railroads and built his reputation as a skilled stonemason and jack of all trades.
Bob O. Yaconetti
Bobby's grandfather owned Yacon Construction and was a master builder of homes. For 20 years, he crafted quality residences throughout Lake Oswego and Portland, establishing the family's reputation for excellence.
Bob W. Andruszko
Bobby's father owned Andy's Professional Painting for a decade, earning recognition as a master painter. A proud US Navy veteran who served for 4 years and was Honorably Discharged, Bob instilled in his son both craftsmanship and service. In his honor, ACGI is committed to serving local veterans with a 10-30% discount.
